We packed up our picnic lunches and loaded up the van to head off to the park. It was a cold, damp, rainy day, but that wasn’t going to stop us. Community Life Assistant, Seth Frappier, had planned this adventure for months and we knew it was going to be a huge success!
Picture an old mill turned into an inside park with the fake grass and picnic tables. Children were running around and playing just like they would have at a traditional park. The seven of us enjoyed a nice relaxing picnic lunch complete with sandwiches, chips, soda and cookies for our dessert. Mill 180 Park is located in Easthampton Mass and impressively grows their own vegetables, herbs and flowers. Needless to say, the weather was perfect ‘inside’ and we enjoyed a fun day at the park. Thank you Seth for planning a great day for all of us!
